Travel Diaries - Cape Town

Hello Loves!

A week ago a friend and I went to Cape Town for the weekend. It was the first time for both of us. We stayed at the Lagoon Beach Hotel. I enjoyed my stay there and part of me wishes I had stayed longer.

Cape Town is one of South Africa's capital cities and it is also known as the Motherland. It is a huge tourist attraction because of the Table mountain which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Robben Island, Cape of Good Hope and V&A Waterfront to name a few. Cape Town is quite a small city as we were able to navigate around Table Mountain in our small rental car.

It's a beautiful city situated next to the Atlantic Ocean. Growing up on the east side of the country I've always been exposed to the Indian Ocean which is pretty warm. We took a drive along Camps Bay and Hout Bay. I wasn't brave enough to swim because the water there is freezing cold and it was very windy. The mornings are also very cold but as the day progresses it gets warmer. For someone who can't pack a luggage bag I chose my outfits wisely.

There is so much to do in Cape Town and we only got to do a few of those things. I would love to go back one day. I love traveling so much and it always channels my inner photographer. I also love sharing my experiences with you.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Your feedback is always appreciated.

Until next time!
