Spring / Summer Trends

A good morning to you my lovies! Today I bring you the long awaited post. I've been so swamped with work lately but I took some time off to write this post for you. 

There are a few trends to look out for this season. 


Whites in the form of jumpsuits, dresses and skirts will be a wardrobe staple for this season. 



Prints are in! When we talk prints they can be African prints, florals and Aztec. They add some colour to an outfit. They can be worn with any matching colour. They are very versatile. 
Floral hair bands are my favourite. They make me look forward to summer festivities. They instantly create a girly look to an outfit. 

3. Nudes / Tan 
Nudes have been on trend since last season. They make legs look leaner and longer. Who doesn't wanna have long legs? Nobody! 
They can also be added to you wardrobe in the form of bags (totes, satchels and shoppers).  

4. Orange
Orange is definitely the new black. It's fun, bright and it looks totes amaze on every skin tone. Try it out, you won't regret it.

Hello Loves! A week ago a friend and I went to Cape Town for the weekend. It was the first time for both of us. We stayed at the Lagoon Beach Hotel. New Year! New You?

Hi Loves! First things first, Happy 2017 to all my readers. I'd like to wish you guys all the best for 2017. It's the start of a new year and a lot of us are thinking of ways that we could improve our lives. I personally don't do New Years resolutions mainly because I feel under pressure and I never complete anything on that list. What I do is set one goal at a time and see if I can stick to it. When that one task is finished I move to the next one. Currently I'm focused on my health and well being. Lately I have been neglecting myself to the point where I had a hard time looking at myself in the mirror. My problem was not with the weight gain but not feeling pretty in my own skin. I've gone past that now... This year I'm hoping to stick to clean eating habits, pampering myself and loving myself. I also wish to focus less on weight loss and focus more on self acceptance. Anti-Valentine

Hello Lovely People Valentine's Day... A day where couples spoil each other with flowers; chocolate; lingerie etc etc. To me it's just like any other day. I hardly do anything special for anyone on Valentine's Day. This year was a lil different. I still didn't spoil my significant other but at least I didn't spend it in bed watching fitness videos on YouTube ;). I actually did something... I went to a Wedding. I kinda like the idea of having a wedding on Valentine's Day, it's sorta cheesy but I still think its pretty romantic. Every year on the 14th of February it would always be your anniversary and not about Saint Valentine. At this posh affair I wore a red off the shoulder dress. This is actually the first time in a very long time that I'm wearing red on Valentine's. I specifically chose this dress because I'm currently loving the off the shoulder trend.
