Spring fever

Hi Everyone! 
Finally Spring is here. Goodbye to cold days and cold nights. Farewell to pale skin and hello tan! 

Today I've put together an outfit that is very simple. Spring hasn't settled in quite yet and this outfit is great for those days when you're not too sure if it's hot or not. I've paired a white dress with boots which is something that I've recently discovered. The look can be easily transformed by just changing your shoes. You can wear sandals or sliders, which ever one works for you. The pullover adds another texture to this outfit. White dresses are a must this season.

Hello Loves! A week ago a friend and I went to Cape Town for the weekend. It was the first time for both of us. We stayed at the Lagoon Beach Hotel. New Year! New You?

Hi Loves! First things first, Happy 2017 to all my readers. I'd like to wish you guys all the best for 2017. It's the start of a new year and a lot of us are thinking of ways that we could improve our lives. I personally don't do New Years resolutions mainly because I feel under pressure and I never complete anything on that list. What I do is set one goal at a time and see if I can stick to it. When that one task is finished I move to the next one. Currently I'm focused on my health and well being. Lately I have been neglecting myself to the point where I had a hard time looking at myself in the mirror. My problem was not with the weight gain but not feeling pretty in my own skin. I've gone past that now... This year I'm hoping to stick to clean eating habits, pampering myself and loving myself. I also wish to focus less on weight loss and focus more on self acceptance. Anti-Valentine

Hello Lovely People Valentine's Day... A day where couples spoil each other with flowers; chocolate; lingerie etc etc. To me it's just like any other day. I hardly do anything special for anyone on Valentine's Day. This year was a lil different. I still didn't spoil my significant other but at least I didn't spend it in bed watching fitness videos on YouTube ;). I actually did something... I went to a Wedding. I kinda like the idea of having a wedding on Valentine's Day, it's sorta cheesy but I still think its pretty romantic. Every year on the 14th of February it would always be your anniversary and not about Saint Valentine. At this posh affair I wore a red off the shoulder dress. This is actually the first time in a very long time that I'm wearing red on Valentine's. I specifically chose this dress because I'm currently loving the off the shoulder trend.
